85 Cutlass, replaced the door hinge bushings 20 years ago. It's time again. I'm looking at complete hinges. Any recommendations? I see complete sets pretty cheap on ebay, what is everyone using? Thanks!

Following as I am going to need to do mine soon. Can probably just do the pins but curious to what gets posted here.

Personal opinion here but I would rather rebush/ repin OE hinges than take a chance on reverse engineered aftermarkets any day. Also I only buy GM pins and bushings as some of the aftermarket bushings don’t look to be of very high quality. When I order them from my GM parts guy I just tell him they’re for an Astro van as those pins come with a little spring retainer so you don’t have to tack weld the pin or stake it to prevent it from working it’s way out

put in new pins and bushngs don;t unbolt anything.. just knock out the old pins to get the door off install new bushings then new pins and the door will line up just fine ..

I guess it depends on how bad your hinges are. The ones on my El Camino, the drivers side was worn through the bushing, into the hinge. Yeah, I could have welded it up, and redrilled it, but felt better just buying a set of 4 new hinges. When will they get put on? who knows right now 🤣
