Yeah,I used dove gray. It looks a hell of a lot better with new carpet. And I got the floor mats from the parts place.

I bought a set of those mats. My OCD made me get the carpeted ones for a perfect match. LOL

I had similar luck when doing the carpet in my 1979. A few small areas of rust, but nothing that a wire brush couldn't handle. Yours definitely even nicer than mine. Wowza! Makes you feel good, doesn't it?
