Return of Studebaker

There's a current wagon that advertises a receding roof and makes it sound like a new idea...Studebaker had that option in the station wagon back in 63..

Steve,
I always liked the receding roof wagons. I can't say that I've ever seen one up close...only in magazines or quarterlies.
There is a guy outside of town that deals exclusively in Studebakers and Studebaker parts. He owns some super sweet cars and trucks as well. Occasionally he shows up at the local car shows or cruise-ins with some interesting vehicles.
A guy also shows up with a '57 Golden Hawk. Your typical gold and cream color combination with the supercharged 289, of course.

Joe, I've seen both varieties of pickups at the local shows. Usually brought by, by our local Studebaker guy. Once in awhile I see the earlier type pickup in street rod or pro-street trim.
