well my question is ,, will everyone be allowed to browse the club sections or will these be a "members only" type thing! just curious!

Haven't decided yet (or even if any of this will happen!)... Depends on if the club wants it to be a "members only" section, I guess. I wouldn't have a problem either way.

If you do it, I think everybody should still be able to post there. It would make it easier for members of the clubs or people interested in them. G-Body Nation votes yes Haha, at least I do. 8)

Just so that I'm clear. Will build threads remain where they are now or be moved to this new section?

General interest topics such as build threads should go where they normally do. This'd be for club business, events (with maybe some crossover into the general events section), random club-member BS-ing and conversations, whatever.

OK cool. This is what I was chopping it up with a club member ealier about. I was worried that any thread a "club guy" started would be moved to the "club section". With that cleared up, I gotta change my vote to a yes....

All I need is a big "hell yeah" From someone who can make the call for the club and I can do it....

might be a dumb idea but what about in the settings have an option for the show new posts. Like have it so you can only view certain sub forums(tech, suspension, etc) That way the guys who have an issue with big rims and lowriders can choose not to view those new posts in those areas. catch my drift?

I don't get involved in all of the bs and I don't really think going out on a limb is necessary to keep the peace. I actually got some of my ideas for lifting my body off the frame from the lowrider community. If people don't like something they can suck it up. If you think about it, the culture is different from coast to coast, the midwest and down south.

If you don't like the thread's topic then move on. Society has gone from survival of the fittest to appeasement of the weakest.

this has nothing to do with "appeasing" anyone. I just thought it might be a decent thing to do for the community at large. Like I said this wouldn't be limited to any particular club or type of club. The Teaneck granny cutlass club could get a page if they really wanted it.

Breaking up the unread/new posts page I'm not sure can be done. Just like any other page on the site, if you don't really want to see a topic, don't click on it.

You guys who would be "in charge" for lack of a better term of these clubs (and therefore moderators of these club forums), PM me with what you want the forum to be called, and a short description to put under it, and I'll see what I can do.

Well what about a regional section since we are on the topic? I have requested it before and that way clubs that are in those section can post in there. Like my club I am trying to start is in the Philly area. So if I had a section for Pennsylvania I would post about my club in it. I think that would be better then having a section with numerous car clubs.
