RIP Dusty Hill

My dad's favorite band and being a kid growing up in the 80s with MTV always loved to see there videos with the chicks in the Ford coupe and then I got hooked but the old man I never got to see them. It will be ZZ Top weekend for me this weekend in the garage or whatever I go. RIP Dusty

Definitely came to appreciate these guys later on in life. Always loved Cheap Sunglasses. Phish's cover of Jesus left Chicago is also a favorite of mine. As a drummer, I marvel at, with the exception of the intro to La Grange, I don't think Frank Beard has played a recorded drum fill, solo or extra crash/hit in his career.

I saw ZZ live in a small venue in NJ about 3 years ago, NJ PAC. They were unbelievable live and a great show. I'm glad I saw them. Their greatest hits is on my top 10 list of sound tracks.
