rust maybe

i been sanding down my car to the metal and covering the metal with with primer i read in a topic that bondo and primer absorbs water ? no bondo used yet but it just rained pretty badly yesterday! should i be worried i mean with the primer absorbing water will that cause the car to rust ?


my car is a 86 cutlass by the way !

I wouldn't worry about one day of rain. If you let it sit outside for a month, then yeah you'll have some problems.
