Sarah Palin Hot Topic or Hot Garbage

Every time a Democrat is in office, we end up losing our military stockpiles, so by the time a good, honest Republican gets the office again, he needs to fix what the Dems screwed up. Regan had to do this after the hellish Carter Presidency (Am I the only one who has heard of Carter's "Misery Index", or 20% mortgage rates?), and Bush had to do it after Clinton squandered Regan's legacy. He managed to use up our whole stockpile of medium range cruise missiles, and at the same time stopped all new ones from being ordered, thus making it imperative that whoever replaced him would need to replenish our stockpiles.

Sunday morning newspapers are exposing her for hiring some high school girl friends in lucrative high level Alaska positions. Is she an agent of change?

haven't heard that one yet, but do the newspapers say what qualifications, or lack thereof, her friends have? if your friend is perfectly qual'd for the job, why not hire them?
if you look at the wiki article she actually reduced overall taxes while increasing the quality of life. i'd call that change.

I would like to see the media covering obama's short falls for once, its always reporting **** ups on mccain and now palin. cnn for instance, the other morning after the well publicized interview, they were saying she blundered and didnt know what to say, they played the part where she asked what the interviewer meant by the question, and then proceeded to answer her thoughts on it, but as the morning went on, they stopped playing her answer and just the portion where she was asking what he meant trying to make her appear stupid. I have yet to see obama answer a question directly, he just show boats around the question. I would also like to get an answer when I ask someone why they want to vote for obama other than " because he's black" or " I want change" being black doesn't make him a good candidate let alone a good president, and any new president will be change, **** people these are the people who will be running our country, if you aren't going to be an educated voter, don't vote! I also work for the military therefore I am biased against obama but read, listen to answers or anything to educate yourselves on these people if you are going to help try to vote them into office.

Making statements like above like the son is going to the army to avoid going to jail, but not admitting it could be a rumor until being called on the statement just shows ignorance, i don't want to sound harsh, but if obama gets into office, the military is going to suffer greatly and therefore weaken our country, but he doesn't give a sh*t cuz he has no military background.

Step back for a moment and toss out all of the CNN, NBC, or FoxNews garbage. Throw out all of the rumors and what if's.

Grab onto the facts about both candidates the best that you can (I know it's difficult to sort through all of the nonsense), and come away with a "gut-feeling" about both candidates and their VP picks.

Which pair do you "feel" better about? That's who you vote for.

For me, the easy choice is McCain-Palin. The two biggest factors against Obama for me are: 1) Why would anyone want a fresh college grad in a CEO position? GE, GM & HP would never think of doing this, so why would we? 2) His associations in the past are very questionable. If 20+ years of Rev. Wright and Ayres don't scare you, nothing will.

That question was about the Bush Doctrine. If I remember correctly, she was asked what she thought about it and she asked which part. CNN cut it off at that to make it appear she is dumb. The interviewer in fact is the one who is unfamiliar and she knew what she was talking about. There are 4 main points to the Doctrine, Preemption, Military Primacy, New Multilateralism, and the Spread of Democracy. For Palin to answer a simple question with a 4 point answer could take forever so she basically wanted to know which was the point in question.

For me I think Palin is a great choice with the more I look into her. Her children should be off limits as I doubt there is any family out there that does not have problems raising their children. Anyone who looks to CNN or any news channel for advice is obtuse. You need to do your own research, look into voting records, look into public records, look into issues that are FACT and not hearsay, exaggerated or mutilated.

Vote Republican 2008.

i agree totally.

why the hell does the media waste our time interviewing palins friends from aerobics class? what the f^ck is the point of that?

What you have to remember is that the mainstream media is desperate. They have already coronated Barak Obama as our lord, savior and president. So, in order to maintain their relevance they are desperate to ruin the Mc Cain Palin ticket and are trying everything they can to get some dirt on her. She is getting the vetting that Obama never received.

The Media will do anything to get people to watch them, even if it's the dumbest stories you've ever seen.

Kinda off-topic...but, damn. Why don't they dig up her past and say she was too hot to be Vice President...
