off topic... but did u know that mrs. mccain goes drifting with her son and likes cars?

actually yes, but from another forum.
so lets see, we have a Navy veteran who's wife is a beer distributor who races cars, a hot NRA member who shoots, skins and eats moose who's husband races snowmobiles and has 2 jobs and her son is going to iraq.
how do we lose?

lol when you put it like that any motor freak cant help BUT to vote republican!

IMHO, I am not exactly happy with either of our presidential choices.
obama should have taken hillary as v.p. instead he choice of binden doesn't do it 4 me. take a quick glance at obama's campaign sign with binden on it
Obama
Binden at first glance for some reason I see osama bin laden between their names but if you know anything on how the human brains works it on uses the first and last letters of a word to read it. atleast that works for 90% of humans.
as for mccain palin I dont see a change for any of us in the near future.
but look at it on the bright side if obama wins jesse jackson cant pull the race card no more!!!
If mccain wins we can almost guarantee high oil prices(good for me as I invested in oil market.) however I am not exactly going to say who I will vote for......but where the hell is perot this time around...lol

How Mc Cain equates to high oil prices I have no idea. Obama would be more likely to raise oil prices and gas prices due to a lack of domestic production and a desire to tax us out of our cars.

More of the same does not sound too bad to me as the alternative is permanent government solutions to temporary economic instability. I need health insurance, but do not want to be forced into a system I don't want. It is not the government's place to provide basic needs for it's citizens in a free society. That falls squarely on the shoulders of the individual-as it should.

Eh. Republican, democrat... it really doesn't matter.

We're beyond the point of real change. All you're going to see from either candidate is short-term, minor alterations without taking any of the future into account. Of course, that's all people really see... for instance, the economy was good under Clinton. What nobody fails to see is that it was an entirely temporary situation, and the steps taken to make the economy better would only last so long before collapsing. Then when it goes kerplunk under Bush, everyone points the finger at him for being an awful president and ruining the economy.

My opinion? Yes, Bush is an awful president. But no more awful than Clinton... or Bush Senior. Or Reagan or Carter.

Remember Ross Perot? He was going to raise taxes. He came straight out and said that the economy wasn't going to be great, but that we had to suffer a little now so that it didn't go straight to hell. Of course, people didn't like that. They didn't like that he was honest (or, as the popular media like to say, "crazy") and wanted to take the necessary steps to secure a good future... they want a good future NOW, two decades later be damned.

This is exactly why you're not going to see either of these guys really stepping up and making the unpopular choices. Because they want us to be on their side. They want that majority of the American public -- who, sadly, really have no interest in anything except the here-and-now -- to get behind them. It is for this reason that we will see no real change under either of them.

Me? I think I'm voting for John Vanbiesbrouck again. Because I think a retired NHL goalie would do a better job than either of 'em.

that is so true LMAO

...and so you realize Palin's husband was part of a separatist organization, wanting Alaska to secede from the United States of America. Where does she stand on the issue?

That would be the one thing that could make me move to Alaska. I want so badly to get away from living where the government steals so much money from the private sector in order to win elections for politicians. Plus, with so much wide open space, there would be less government because people need to be self sufficient. However, I would love to see California secede so we don't have to deal with their nonsense anymore. If they could take New York with them, it would be even better. Just think of all the environmentalist crybabies we could eliminate by doing that!
