I believe that someone posted a link to that same ad here some time ago. I agree that its a rare car, with some cool options, but it looks a bit rough in the photos. I'm thinking that the seller's asking price might be a bit optimistic.

Nice save. I had a 79 many years ago and painted my 81 Lemans in the same colors. Can't go wrong with the snowflakes.

There is a high percentage of these that are 4 spd. Pontiac had the 301 up to 190 hp for the Grandam with a 4 spd and 3.23's ran mid 15's. Too bad that version never saw the light of day.
~1% over the 3 years of production

5% if only considering 1979
