Ok I'm trying to figure out how to solve my Power Steering pressure hose problem. So my PS pump is the inverted flare style while the buick hose is 1.5mm male o ring. So do they make fittings that would work or do they make custom pressure hoses.

here are the pressure hose specs:

Chevy hose
Fitting A Size in mm 7/16 inch
Fitting B Size in mm 3/8 inch
Fitting A Type Male Inverted Flare
Fitting B Type Male Inverted Flare

Buick Hose
Fitting A Size in mm 16
Fitting B Size in mm 18
Fitting A Type 1.5mm Male O Ring
Fitting B Type 1.5mm Male O Ring

What fitting would I need if they make a fitting?

do you still have the original pump and hose? use the original hose and the fitting in the back of the pump that the hose screws into interchanges.

Had the same prob lucky me I still had the old new style pump it just unscrews from the back and goes in to the old style pump just got done putting the line back in today . Good luck 8)

I just used a matched set of Chevy pump from a Caprice and the line off a Monte Carlo of the same year as my car's steering box. Are you trying to use the Buick V6 line with a SBC? Also, what year is your car's steering box off of? I think they changed from an inverted flare to an O ring around 1978 or 79.
