It's all good

As soon as I get the intake and start the swap I will take some pictures throughout the conversion and keep y'all posted

Alright, so this intake I am wanting has been pushed even further back on back order and they have no projected date for shipping it out.

I do have an original Edelbrock Torker intake, do y'all think this would be alright to use? Or should I just go ahead and get the intake from SummitRacing that I was planning on using?

I say just get the damn thing from summit. The issue with the torker intake, if I remember right, is a single plane intake and you would benefit a lot better from a dual plane or the edelbrock rpm performer that has the notch shaved into it for upper rpms.

Well I got an intake yesterday and I am really excited. I got a brand new (in box, with SummitRacing receipt) Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap #7501 for $100

This guy bought it for his '67 Chevy II and come to find out his heads are shaved down and it wouldn't fit without some machining, and he didn't want to cut up on a new intake.

😛 So the RPM Air Gap will be the intake in my build :!:
