I was putting together my SBO and when i went to put the intake gasket on it was not clearing my new roller rockers
I was using the valley pan metal type gasket,
Has anyone had any trouble using this gasket with roller rockers?
and does anyone have any experience using the single runner style gasket (like the exhaust manifold gasket)?
My only thing is that all the excess oil is going to be splashing onto the bottom of the intake rather then the other gasket keeping it down.

Thanks, Kevin

Cut off the metal pan and fit to use with the composite gaskets. The SCE gaskets are cheap and seem to have the rubber bead around the ports. I'm trying them when I swap.

From what i understand, an oem type valley pan gasket will not fit under roller rockers or an edelbrock manifold. For this reason, i'm using Mr gasket intake manifold gaskets and no valley pan. Mondello makes a valley pan also buts its pretty expensive. I'm using Mr gasket 405G intake manifold gaskets, and i have an edelbrock performer rpm manifold and those gaskets work well. I put a bit of silicone around the edges because its an aluminum intake mating to cast iron heads.
