Who makes a good easy to use dash cam ? I want to put one in the wife's Impala. It got backed into while I was in the hospital and she didn't notice the damage until a few days later. I have seen some that come on automatically.

Well, yeah. If YOU know it's your fault, grab the dash cam and put it in the glove box before anyone sees it. Never use the dash cam to incriminate yourself. Be like the fat kid with the cookie crumbs on his mouth claiming he didn't raid the cookie jar. Don't volunteer the evidence!

Here is a little advice on getting a cam.

DO NOT get an HD cam.

The human eye does not see in HD therefore there is a good chance the camera will see and record things you did not.

While you may think you are in the "right" the camera may pick up something your eye did not.
