Just looking for some input, I put a new sending unit in but can't remember if the sending unit ground was grounded to the body or to the frame, the ground strap that came with the sending unit isn't very long. Anyone have some input?

I'm confused, sending units are normally installed in the engine which gives it it's ground...

That wire gets attached to the body You should see a small hole where the gas tank strap is on the driver's side or if the ground wire was broken off a 10 mm bolt. If you don't see it just made a new hole or use a self tapping 10 mm bolt. Make sure you clean the spot off for a good ground

Ok yes that rings a bell, thank you for jogging my memory lol. I will have to extend that wire then, its definitely not long enough to reach the frame.
