Another protective coating you may consider is Nyalic. It was a coating that you could use to protect bare metal and polished stuff and pretty much anything except very hot stuff like exhaust. We would use Nevr Dull in the navy to clean up the metal and nyalic to coat it and protect it. That stuff did last a good long time.

So, here's the definitive conclusion: after an extremely mild winter, the front wheels, coated with Sharkhide are pitting already. The clear coated rears are fine. Don't waste your money; that sh*t sucks!
