shaved door handle help

There's a Stacy David's gearz video showing the Kindig handles if you hadn't seen it yet. Over $500 is a lil much for me & I don't 100% like the shape. Other sources of the handles are older jags, Aston Martins like the db9, The nissan nsx. See any of those at the local U-pull it? that's why I'll make mine.
I've tried to find some type of commercial part that could be used as at least part of a custom made handle, but never found anything.
As far as the chryslers used as hornet cars, I,m not sure either what they came with, but none of them around either. :?

yes sir, it is pricey, but i need handles on the outside of the truck in case its crashed, so that people dont have to break a window to get in and save someone in that event... I have FULL confidence in you though that you can come up with something that will hold up against them all... so if you do before i purchase those, let me know! i could prob make something too, and make it pretty simple enough, but im working on too many different things right now... just tore my harley down too, so its getting crazy around here!

I have that same kit on my Monte with poppers, doors shut fine.
