Hi guys,

What do you guys use the keep your drag slicks shiny?

I have some spray can products but not sure if bad for slicks.. some say the silicone is bad for them.

Thanks!

I never put anything on slicks so I don't have to worry about getting overspray on the tread and defeating the purpose of having slicks

I don't have slicks but drag radials on 100% of the time. I use tire shine that I apply with a tire shine applicator sponge that is contoured. I put it on the sponge and am able to control where is goes. I've never had an issue with that. Obviously I don't use is when going to the track.

Thanks guys, just curious, stocker guys at track use something shinny behond just washing them.

And no I'm not paying a crew to spray the bottom of the slicks before racing

I'm talking about the side walls
