it looks like someone hit a very tall speed bump or even a median but idk looks normal to me, and the cross-member also looks normal i just pulled mine out yesterday and it was shaped weird 2.

yes my floor is gone so is the rocker but the trunk is mint the car sat in a front yard for the last 5 years before i bought it now i have a rust free cutlass shell i am droping it on the grand prix chassis if it is fixable

Jeremy, you didn't show any pics of the frame, only the transmission crossmember. Anything can be fixed. It all depends on how much time or money you have. My floors looked like that, if not a little worst, and lets just say I've been spending a lot of time on the body and frame. I believe my car sat for years in a yard also.

All stock crossmembers look similar. Your frame looks straighter than most in the C channel area. If the small bends in the lower lip of the C channel bother you then gently straighten them out, a little at a time. You don't want to kink it. Honestly the slight bends these frames end up with in that area don't hurt anything.

thanks guys my plan is to just scrap this body and see what the chassis is like the body is not off the frame yet so i have no chassis pictures but i will soon i was just worried about the bend as it is only on one side of the c channel

What are you talking about? These bodies are not made anymore. Don't scrap the body thats stupid. Frame-off the body and scrap that trashed frame. All you need is a rotisserie and some floors. You could even cheat and use sheetmetal if it's thick enough gauge. On the other hand, it's pretty obvious from the pics you've got a nice dash and steering wheel, but a car that's going to put you thousands in the hole. You would be surprised how fast a body might net you a few hundred bucks on craigslist. It's worth a shot before you call the scrapyard... someone might be willing to save it.
