jaypat, that's one clean engine!
here's the 307 I refreshed earlier this year for my 86 salon:
the day I pulled it- 1/4" of crud all over... more oil outside than in :puke:

the reason it was pulled... spun rod bearing on #2

new rings,crankshaft, timing chain/gears, etc later...
 
I recently did some upgrades to my 565 Big Block Chevy like a new DC Power 180 alternator and I finally made some aluminum brackets to hold my Accel Pro sleeves that are 12.8 mm for my plug wires.
I also bought a new Griffen radiator and a Canton aluminum overflow/recirculating tank and polished them both along with the brackets I made out of aluminum for each of them and I also replaced many of my bolts with stainless allenheads I bought off Ebay and then polished those also.
