WAS UN AWARE THAT A DONK IS JUST A TYPE OF VEHICLE... SO LET ME CHANGE MY STATMENT IN LIGHT OF NEWLY LEARNED FACTS... I HATE THE VEHICLES THAT HAVE HUGE LIFT KITS AND TIRES THAT HAVE TO SIT BELOW THE BODY... (SEE ABOVE PICTURE) I AM ALL FOR PEOPLE CUSTOMIZING ANY VEHICLE, I, PERSONALLY, DO NOT LIKE CERTAIN THINGS... I LOVE THE LOOK OF BIG RIMS, AS LONG AS THEY FIT IN THE WHEEL WELLS... LARGEST I EVER WENT WERE 20'S IN THE REAR 18'S IN THE FRONT ON MY EXS 92 CAMARO RS...

My buddy had a 1905 Cadillac that we restored with 31" wood spoke wheels. He wins the trophy for the big rims as all of the shows he goes to. Boy that pisses some folks off.

Yes, It was already a good runner. We had to build the spokes and the wood felons that mate up with the steel rims. He made the fenders, lots of the body parts and did the paint and body work. He also made the radiator. He had to stamp out each fin separately and build the radiator from scratch. I have no ownership in the car, he just let me work on it. It was a blast.

that is a beautiful automobile and your buddy is a skilled craftsman to do that kind of work. You're a lucky man to have a chance to work on a project like that

I took my girl to Alabama (where I am from, but now Maryland) for the first time and you looked at a Cutlass on big rims and laughed. She said the rims cost more then the car, so I told her to go tell him to pop his hood. Once she heard/seen it pull off she was like what the hell he got under the hood. Down south we do engine, suspension, rims, sound system, paint and then interior. Qdub24 I am stealing this picture to show all my coworkers what a Donk really is, they think Donks are all cars with big rims.

oh ok, I didn't realize everyone down south agrees with you. So how far north have you got speaking to everyone about what they consider a donk to be. I am astounded that all the sites that pop up when you do a search on google "what is a donk" have it all wrong. It's good that you are out there setting them right.
