Drive around the pits and then go to the starting line!!!!!!I think they said just take it easy for about 500 miles before you hammer on it. It's in the destructions.....

And that's with the RST twin disk? I was watching there videos said 500 or 1200-1400 cycles . Also called a engine builder does alot of twin turbo LS motors he said that's all he ran was these clutches he said he was shattering Muncies way before the clutch gave him issues lol so happy to hear thatWell in all seriousness, a drag car is not going 500 miles before going down the track. So there has to be some leeway in that. I ran my engine on the dyno for 10 minutes after building it and we were loading it to 7000. We went to 7500 on the next pull. When I put new gears or a rebuilt trans in the car honestly I drove it around the pits a few minutes to get it hot and then it was right into the lanes.
Those wont take the abuse on the street of on and off ,hell I could have a pile of those . Summit says should be here Thursday so we'll see ,just need nice weather nowwe use a multi disk 5.5" clutch on our sportsman and pro late model. If you tried to break one of these in you'll fry it. It's like an on/off switch and the reason for mutiple disks is the 5.5" which really lets the engine slow down quick with less rotational weight.
