I've got 2.14 stock grears and was planning to go 3.75 .... but I think 3.43 might fit my tire budget better, from what I'm reading .. lol

I did the 3.73 swap in my Regal and felt the difference just tapping the pedal a little. Of course I have a lockup, overdrive trans so my MPGs won't go down much.

I have a th-350 with 3000 stall and was running a 2.41 Gear and that was Fun but put in my 4.11s a few months ago and its crazy Fun but @55. 3200 rpm sucks.. right now I only have a 215-65-15 tires so it will hopefully get better when I go to my 275/60/15

I agree completely with Vern, 3.08's are too tall for overdrive. I run 1850 at 60 mph with a short 25.6" tire with 3.42's. I wanted 3.73's when my spider gears exploded and took out my pinion. Only had 3.42's locally and I had the speedo set up bang on for them.
