my regal is at my uncles race shop now, i went there today and did all the brake lines. i decided to take some pics of what we have there now. the corvette is a 377 CI small block all naturally aspirated runs mid 9's. and the big block with a sheet metal intake is a 522 CI with big chief heads also naturally aspirated. and i dont know what the hell that brown car is. it just showed up today. i figure 85 Cutlass Brougham will like it. lol thought of him as soon as i saw it.

LOL at that, funny sh*t man...it's funny how we all don't know each other, just from what we see here on the forum

Well.. The Nash Metropolitan is not one of my favorites, but it is the only car ever made to be able to pull the front wheels in stock form. You had to really abuse it, but it would do it. It was also sold by Hudson for a year or two as Nash and Hudson had been merged by George Romney in 1955 to form the American Motors Corporation (AMC). Incidentally, the Metropolitan is not a Nash design. It was designed by BMC in England (Headed at the time by Sir Leonard Lord, the man who commissioned Sir Alec Issigonis to design the Mini) where it was sold as an Austin. If you look under the hood, it has either a BMC A or B series 4 cylinder engine (forget which), which was used in many different BMC cars like certain MG models and even the Mini.

nice, well im not going to do anything with it besides shove it in a corner and cover it up. i dont want it getting to close to the other cars, might spread its shittyness! lol

Well, it's not horrible and it does have a following among people who want a 50's car but can't afford a more mainstream model. However, there are more interesting 50's compacts to choose from that I would go for before a Metro. In no particular order: Trabant P50 (East German), Fiat 500, Morris Minor, Zaporozhetz 965 (Soviet Union), Austin Seven/Morris Mini Minor (Aka Mini), Prince Skyline, Moskvitch (USSR again), Datsun Bluebird, or even a Toyopet (Toyota). Then again, a GAZ Poebda would also be cool, even if it is about the size of a 47 Chevy.

(If I HAD to choose from my list, it would probably be the Trabant over the others, but a good Zaporozhetz would be VERY hard for me to turn down too. There's just something about a commie car from the height of the Cold War that makes it cool)

Value depends on condition, but probably $1500-3000 judging by the one pic.
