Hi all:

I am looking for a source for the bolts that attach inner fender to the outer fender. See pic below. Bolts have a 10mm head, about a 6mm shank and are 20mm long (from point to bottom of captured washer). I tried Auveco but they apparently do not stock M6-1.25 bolts (only M6-1.00 bolts).

I would like to find the exact same bolt so that I don't have to change out the U nuts. Any suggestions on where to source these bolts we be greatly appreciated. I spun a known M6-1.25 nut on and spins on nicely (so I am pretty certain that we are dealing with M6-1.25). Any suggestions are appreciated.

I see ebay vendors selling various types of bolts as replacement inner fender bolts including: i.) 5/16-18 bolts and U nuts; ii.) self tappers with a 10mm head; and iii.) 13 mm hex head (which implies M8-1.25 thread) with integrated washer and metric thread.

But I do not see M6-1.25 fasteners. What have you guys used to solve this problem?

I think I should have been wearing my glasses when getting the thread pitch. It appears that you are correct on the M6-1.00 being the correct size. Many thanks.
Those and the M8-1.25 were used alot on these cars! I used to work in the fastener industry so I learned a bunch about the hardware on these cars. I swapped all my fender, core support bolts out to stainless with trick finishing washers....

Injectedcutty, thanks for all the info. Where are you sourcing your stainless M6-1.00 bolts?

I especially like the carbon fiber braces connecting fender and rad support. Where did you find those?

off topic.....ss braided lines never even crossed my little mind when I was trying to source out fittings for the manual brake cylinder I installed....would have made that job alot simpler...

I was sourcing the bolts from Fastenal when I worked there since employees got deep discounts! Since then I just go to my local hardware store which has a pretty good selection of stuff.
In regards to the CF braces, I made them with aluminum tubing, and wrapped with real CF tubing.
