Speed sensor location?

Can anyone tell me where the speed sensor is on a 1986 cutlass supreme?

It'll be behind the speedo. Three wires with a "photo eye"to pick up off a reflector on the speedo. The module box is in the dash behind the gauge cluster, it's a small plastic box. Big time late '70's/early '80's technology.

FYI, I used this sensor in the 90's for a TPI swap. Kept the computer from throwing a speed sensor code, but didn't quite do a proper job.

Do you know if your speed sensor is out is it possible to cause your check engine light to come on?
