I've had one of my posts rated bad spelling as well. However there were no errors to be found. I think people might click the button on accident when they are browsing

UPDATE: Onehit just got back to me and he said he did do it by mistake and admitted he has been doing it a lot lately.
So my negative has been removed and apology accepted and even so I still feel 'bad spelling" should not be a negative on your ratings.

It's happened to me a few times. Turns out it was an error on their part, and it's since been corrected with an apology.
I'd like to thank Tie Clone Pilot and another genius member, who I can't recall, for their negative ratings. Thank you kind sirs...and a Merry Christmas to you, too. 😵

Here comes an argument...

Technically RPMs is wrong.

RPM is Revolutions Per Minute

So RPMs is revolutions per minutes

But I would never make a big deal of it, personally....other than this post I guess

But he was RPMing for multiple minutes.🙂
How many times do you see the term motor in place of the correct word engine?

Howaboutoneforbadpunctuationandspacing?

haha.

I have had a few old and incorrect spelling ratings, they turned out to be an accident. I am usually all screwed up with typing and my beat up fingers, so I have to edit my post a few times to get the spelling correct.

I have seen some really awful run on posts that I don't even finish reading because the spelling and grammar is awful, but I don't rate those posts, since some people just can't spell and are computer illiterate like my father who don't know you can right click the word with the red line under it to get the correct spelling.

RPM's is incorrect, but RPMs is just fine.

Apostrophes are used for possession or word contraction, but never for plurals.
