Thats the 86 new style. Not my 79
You miss my point.

The listing you posted said it was good through 1988 a and g bodies.

I think, obviously, it isn't. And if it's false for 1986, or 1988, why wouldn't it be false for a whole host of other years as well?

The idea is to prove it was falsely advertised. That gets you a free return and no restocking fee.

Assuming it specified which mirror style it would still be good through 88' , the 86' and up "aero" mirror was on limited models.

My guess is that it was this part:

Which, doesn't really specify that type exclusion... but still. Question remains perhaps to other owners of the same year/model as OP if they have the same mirror as he does.

Of course, it also claims Malibu up through 1988 so...

With the weird shape, straight across the center measures roughly 5.5. Up the center is just over 3 inches
That is the measurement I got for the mirrors around 5.25 and approx. just under 3.25 this is for all 3 sets.

Since you have 3 sets the same as mine, WTF is with the one they sent me being smaller?
Really I can't imagine having a mirror smaller than these, I was almost going to put a set of aeros on my Regal just to give more of a view,
