If I had a Grand Am or Lemans I would be tempted to build it along the lines of this concept and add the turbo...

This is hypothetical, assuming I ever had the skill and time to do so.

The article is from what, around 1980? 1980 MGB's still used lever action shocks as did the TR6

Tubular shocks were still "newfangled" to some of the Brits.

The article was published May 1978. The 2nd gen Grand Am cam out..............1978.
It has a Trans Am steering wheel, not exactly factory produced.

The black GrandAmCA was a Hot Rod magazine build. 1 off custom build.
