Very second thought I had was, if TurboZac had this, he could've retained his hot air setup... and be easily beatable in a race.

$1,249 is not a bad price for it. I'll have to wait until I see more reviews come out, but I think I might end up picking this up over the fitech. The fitech system I had in mind though is nearly $300 cheaper (thats a new intake, for example, which also would be necessary), but supports 600hp, which the holley can only do 500.

What say you guys?

This engine wont be FI, my new engine will, at some point.

What I was wondering is what is the benefit of the standard Sniper kit VS the spreadbore Sniper kit? I would imagine all four injectors still fire in each unit, so really you'd be losing the spread bore benefit of smaller primaries and larger secondaries.

I thought a well tuned Qjet runs just as good or even better than fuel injection?????????? 😛

It's for the idiots that can "change a carb" but can't change an intake.............

The regular Sniper is $999. Both systems seem fine for cheap systems. There is progressive linkage that people say is necessary for smooth driving with the Sniper. The spread bore version should be plenty for all but the big ci motors.

I think that is a taunt with a little fear in his voice!? I am more than happy with my Super Sniper now that I have the bugs worked out. Most of the problems I have had were to do with the blow through tuning. That costs more than the Super Sniper and has less benefits. My square bore is a little touchy, but not bad. Like a double pumper carb. The progressive linkage kit would help that. I twitch my foot and the engine spools going down the highway and is ready to get up and rock. I kind like that! The biggest benefit of a Holley Sniper is the tuneability and the timing control. That is what makes it worth buying.

Mr Sony, how in the hell does your converter stall at 1200? My current stock TH350C converter flashes at 1600 RPM. The lowest I have seen was the 4L60E that was in my 94 Z71 1400-1500 RPM, probably a stock or towing replacement. Do you have the 2500 stall and 3.42 gears in yet? If not, you will lose.
