Well now thats 2 trips to Depot I somehow forgot that 3/8 air like is actually 1/4" not so I got the wrong bushings. Daylight is burning and I should be out there working on it but the wife made lobster ravioli with a white sauce and I went overboard lol perhaps an afternoon coffee would help because it's supposed to rain tomorrow

I plumbed air from the compressor to the tank with galvanized 1/2 pipe mounted the tank with stainless hardware and those rubber lined washers I bought. I'm going to change the nuts to nylok later I got 2 bolts in the welder still need to drill 2 new holes. And still need to mount the compressor tomorrow's another day though.

Not shore if that's exactly where it's going to be but it's close.

The air tank went on the other side to try and Ballance the weight to some extent

The welder is a lot heavier than the compressor so it's on the opposite corner. I also left room between it and the tank for battery service and a hose real.

I used galvanized pipe to plumb it to slow the rust a bit

I'm still not shore how I'm going to attach that pipe but I haven't made the connection on the other side yet either

And I took a picture of the rig to just because lol and I don't think I took one after I did the plumbing on it and added the garden hose to the tank

I want to just go out and finish it but I don't want to get sick eather. It feels colder than it is.

I wish I had pointed this out before you piped it all together, but did you look inside the tank and make sure it's not rotten on the inside bottom? The big pipe fitting at the outlet is also an inspection port. Of course, it might be a pain to use - perhaps you have an inspection proble you can use? Hit a bump with a pressurized tank driving down the road some day and you have a fun bomb.

Actually all that stuff I bought was in really good shape and the tank was stored with the drain open and the ball valve open so no condensation whatsoever. I'm really surprised how nice it all is considering what I payed. I really think the guy just didn't want to be bothered with selling them. I only went there for the welder and he offered me the air system with it. He told me he was just sick of people contacting him. If I had more room on the trailer I think he would have tried filling it. He also asked me if I wanted to a crane but I all ready gave him all my money and I didn't think the Subaru could handle a nuckel boom lol
