It's eather the white wire or something a white wire is hooked to
Last night Anthony stoped by. He's an engineer for Amtrak and his hoby is electronics. Our findings are it is making power but we think the Exciter needs to be charged or the bridge rectifier is bad it has 2 AC output breakers that are bad. he says I should start by changing the bad A/C breakers and cleaning the slip rings for the Exciter. I think I need to start with a service manual I did download a free pdf of the owner's manual that got us this far but we don't know the values of any components. I went on fleabay and I talked to the guy that sells all the Miller manuals on there and wouldn't you know the 251 NT is the only manual he doesn't have.so I guess next Sunday it's back to Lakewood and see if they have it at Atlas if not I'll have to order it in. In the meantime I'm going to continue cleaning connections and putting dielectric grease on them and I'll get the numbers off the breakers so I can find them cheaper than Miller perhaps on eBay.
Picked up a few trinkets today for the truck got a hand crank hose real and a factory antenna base for the fender a sleeve of masking tape and some mixing cups not much else. I'll get back to work on it tomorrow

But but, I like it here my g-body friends give me a warm fuzzy feeling
So now I'm the only member of that other forum it's like my phone battery is dead and I'm talking to myself lol still it's better than Sunday when I was at a funeral for my friends little brother that hung himself. Or Saturday tripping in potholes full of water at raceway park I guess. Maybe I'll post some ISO adds for parts my truck needs there
