Ok ok i get it... But all I've done is drive it back and forth to the new job last thing I did was the high beam switch. It's running pritty good. A mild stumble at idle. Driveability has gotten worse... Way worse like I won't let the wife and kids in it anymore. That's why tomorrow is suburban day I need a back up beater so I can do my brakes and steering.

I got it to the shop yesterday now I need to go in and see if it's going to be worth spending $300 on a title or just parts it out I really need a backup vehicle so I'm hoping it's not junk. Maybe it will get its own thread??? There it is next to the Sentra with the hair dryers lol

How bad is the underbody rot?
No idea. I'll get it inside and have a look today. I'm shore there's some rear floor issue because it's been sitting with the back window open half way for years. But the rockers, fender bottoms and dog legs are perfect. Just the rear quarters have visible rot and the right fender wheel arch. The interior is tan cloth and I see no rips it's filthy but I think it will clean up. It's a Silverado with a tow package. So it may work out for me. Or make a really nice parts truck

No idea why but I've always liked those. the visors and running boards are perfect. If I could justify one more useless vehicle...

...then I'd just need a daycruiser to tow behind it.

Even though it's a 2wd I'd vote it appears worth saving. Are the rear wheelwells intact at the top over the tires where the inner/outer quarter panels would meet?

I'd rock it. just different enough to be cool in this area!
