Turn up the hot idle screw on the drivers side.
What he said. ^^^ Start with the idle very high and slowly lower it. Have a vacuum gauge hooked up so you can see what is going on. As you lower the idle adjust the needles for smoothness. Start with them at least 5 turns out. Hot air or electric doesn't matter as long as it opens all the way. If so then either there is a big vacuum leak or the carb is set up all wrong for what you have.

Retailer won't do much if it was just a standard parts store. They might send Kevin out to prod it with a flathead screwdriver. No refunds because its been used.

1985 Cutlass 307 4 barrel carb car starts up great cold on fast idle then it reaches the warm up point the idle starts to flutter then stalls out will restart but then stalls again
I put a rebuilt Q/jet carb on new base gasket checked for vacuum leaks none found adjusted air/fuel mixture
what I found was heavy vacuum leak at the charcoal cannister
