So who knew that a SBC starter from an '84 chevy 305 wouldn't bolt up to a '74 LT-1... buncha poop.

Time to head back to Autozone again...

I am missing the hole in the block for the power steering pump next to the timing cover too...

there are 4 SBC gen 1 starters, it's the combo of flywheel and staggered or inline.
