GRAND PRIX Starter wire identification

I want to wire up the starter on my 86 GP. I

feel like I have an extra wire here. My Malibu isn’t here for reference.

Red to the Red from the Battery, purple to the little one on the Solenoid.

The red/rust color wires with large ring terminals are the fusible links. The purple with the black overmold on the small ring terminal is the starter wire.

Yup they go to the Firewall, through to the Ignition Switch.

Two reds on the battery wire why the eyelet is big.

There are three for that year, the ring terminal with one link is for the ignition switch, main accessory/fuse box power & blower fan relay. The ring terminal with two has one for the alternator & the second one is for the lighting circuits.
