Steering column swap

Hi,
Anybody swap a tilt floor shift column into a non tilt? (83 Monte tilt to 80 Elky) I know the wiper switches are different
but wondering about the wiring plugs and column lock. Any help would be appreciated.

Some plugs on the column are different , like the one for the neutral saftey switch down by the firewall.

The 80 column should not have a neutral saftey plug on it where the 83 will.

I have a factory 4 speed so probably won't have to deal w/neutral switch.
Just worried that once I plug in it will start.

The neutral saftey swith on a factory 4 speed is on the clutch pedal then
