Steering shaft upgrade

I found a steering shaft upgrade article on the web. It uses the intermediate shaft out of a zj jeep with u-joints. it supposedly is a bolt on thus allowing you to eliminate the rag joints giving you tighter steering. Has anybody done this upgrade?

i have seen one on ebay. sounds legit but is it needed? i mean are you going to notice a difference?

who knows? I wanted an opinion since my car is currently apart and it sounds convincing enough. Just thought i would ask. I would think it might add clearance for headers etc..
