I'm switching out my exhaust to duels and the cost of free flow cats isn't that much and they are alot cheaper than getting your car out of the pound after its seized for no cats and then you'll still have to deal with the ticket.

I just got dynomax headers and dual exhaust kit for my 79 Carlo from Summit. Really impressed by a inexpensive kit. Everything fit perfect without issues and it sounds really good. It took me under 4 hours from shut down to start up.
Dual system was $170 and headers were $132. Thats hard to beat!
I also have a my new single system for sale with cat. Older y pipe available as well.

I had 2'' in pipes put on had the crossover taken out, and had some really cheap glass packs put in so I dont get pulled over for havin no mufflers. Sounds pretty good actually, kinda like a motercycle lol or cheap *ss flowmasters. My miss though i have in my car actually makes the ****ing pipes rattle a bit though which sucks. Its one of 3 things they said, a dead cylinder, blown head gasket, or intake gasket. my car does leak antifreeze too but there is no obvious signs of a headgasket leak.

Oh no. Have you ever heard somebody with an S10 or Ranger with dual exhaust on it???? NOT GOOD. I ran my 4.3 for the last time with no exhaust, off the manifolds and honestly, it sounded like a jumbo lawnmower. No good. Just my 2.

I chopped mine off at the manifolds today and drove it there, it was so ****ing loud it was rumbling my winshield even. IM happy with it. Far improvement over the shitbox rusty falling apart junk that was on there before. The rattle at idle is sorta annoying but thats due to the engine being a pile of sh*t. Next year ill prolly drop something a lil bit bigger in there. The next job is taking it over to the shop. They told me 100 bucks each on the wheel wells, 300 for the 1/4s and 100 for some shitty rust by the rear seat belts. Another 1000 theyll throw a half assed paint job on it. Ive got 500 bucks right now and another 1000 in the coarse of 2 months. HAPPY times as quoted by Borat.
