Sub Woofers and Amp Problem

I'd assume it would work. I always just had ground wire left over and used that because its what the terminals were sized for. Safest route is doing it that way.

You also have to make sure you have the right fuse/fuses, and the right wiring.

Edit:Might as well add in. I run all 0 gauge wire, dual alternators etc. It all powers strapped cresendo amps at 1 ohm, and each of those powers a single smd 18inch sub from ascendant audio.

i use a relay to power the remote source gives it a constant 12 or higher those cheap junk headunits can't handle powering two amps. sounds like you are possible bridging somethign wrong

Right now i have a thicker remote wire from my cd player to my amp one, then a smaller one from my amp one to amp two. Would it help if i had them switched around?

Also, do i HAVE to have a distribution block?

you need a digital multi-meter. You need to be able to test for voltage and ohms.

I figured out the problem today. My CD player only had two rcas. One for speakers and one for amps. I rewired my other cd player in that can have three, and now both of my amps, and the 4 12s work. But, my speakers no longer work. Does anyone know what color the speaker wires are behind the cd player?

I have 3 amps hooked up in my jeep right now. I have the 2 amps powering 4 12s and all of my speakers are hooked up to another amp. When i try to hook up my amp for my speakers, it wont work with this CD player. But when i hook it up to my old one, it works find. This is the difference between my old one and the new one. My new one has the yellow wires, which my amp with my speakers worked on, and when i hooked them up to the subwoofer wires(black) it didnt work. does anyone know how i can hook up my speakers and amp to my new cd player?
