Yea I Had a 600 CFM holley on my 305 H/O and irt ran out of steam at 4500 RPM. Switched to a quadrajet now it pulls to 5600 RPM. I think a dual plane is the better for the street. If your going for all out power try a single plane and if the motor is still pulling after 6500 RPM it will be making more power.
