LOOKS SWEET! i myself have been hunting those silver faced guages as well..Wonder how hard it would be to paint the dash bezel like that... kinda makes the passenger side trim stick out like a sore thumb though with the wood trim.

One other rare thing about Bonnewagon's dash is the tape deck  Really rare if it still works!
Just giving you sh*t Mark!

As far as silver gauges, I believe that's a '78 only deal. Not sure on the silver dash bezel. I think that came about after '81. I've seen them in non-2+2's.

Hey if that's a Kenwood I have the same one in my Monte. Still works great. Plus they make a tape that has a 3.5mm headphone jack attached to it so you can hook anything up to it.

Thank's Steve, now I'm all em-bare-assed. 😳 The dash bezel came from Grandaman who knows me from years ago searching for a silver one, and I used parts from another one I got from Safariwagon to make it whole. They were only on 79'/80' GrandAm's and Grand Prix SJ's. The silver gauges came from Supermav out of a 78' GrandAm and were one year only, with the tach being the diamond in the rough. I thought they would look cool together and I am happy how they clicked. Yes, that is a factory refurbished Kenwood AM/FM cassette that works perfectly and fit the dash with no modification at all, which is why I bought all 3 that the Kenwood outlet store in Jersey had. I am looking for a better dash insert to replace the wood grained one on the pass side, not sure if the GP or GA look better, or if I can keep the Bonneville logo and remove the wood color and redo it in black or not. Kris_84elky that pic of your dash shows me that the insert is held on from behind? Good to know. I would love to figure out how to repaint the brushed aluminum bezel since up close it looks to me like Krylon rattle can aluminum paint. The knob thing is a JC Whitney wiper delay module, it works OK but parks after every cycle, annoyingly. I just ordered a GM column mounted wiper switch for tilt/delay from RockAuto, a closeout at half price so that JCW one is history. Thank's for the compliments guys, you are very kind.

No need to be embarrassed and I posted cause I knew you wouldn't..

What you've done is used Pontiac OEM parts from different decades and put them all together for a great looking interior. Goes to show you ingenuity and persistence can have awesome results and one you can't find in a store.

x2! Just last night a guy was interested in buying my '94 Cadillac. I told him I wanted another old school car and he said. "94 is old school,". I said not to me because it has fuel injection

That does look awesome! nice combo...

I had a set of those 78 only gauges a year or so back...

I didn't want to see them get crushed with the car so I brought them home. For some reason couldn't sell them on this site...practically gave them away on another site..

Yes, I remember those, in fact I had just missed snagging them. I even pirated your picture to search for a set and it was fruitless. I got lucky when Supermav posted the 78' GA for sale and when it didn't sell, I asked if he was parting it out.
