I had a set of those 78 only gauges a year or so back...

I didn't want to see them get crushed with the car so I brought them home. For some reason couldn't sell them on this site...practically gave them away on another site..

I think i inquired you about those guages BUT i couldn't swing the $$ for them, believe me i am kicking myself for not snatching them up... i seen some a while back in a junkyard but they had the dummy lights and a clock and were in rough shape so i passed them up. I am just going to use my black ralley guages with a tach.

If I had one complaint about the Olds Cutlass...it was a lack of sporty looking dashes to accompany the shifter cars....and this is an example of where they really dropped the ball, imo. Trans Ams, Grand Ams, etc...all had really nice dash layouts from the factory.... That dash looks great Bonnewagon! congrats!

Great looking set-up! I have a similar set-up in my lemans. I also have the silver gauges but with a clock instead of the tach. I`ve kept the wood grain but i`m using the panel from a 87 GP with a chrome strip all the way around. I have to wait until spring to put all the parts back together for a final picture.
