I've seen roller rockers under stock covers plenty of times. If you insist on more clearance, you could do 3/8 rail spacers.
But, the cast aluminum ones are nice looking, too.
The stock valve cover I have sits on top of the rockers. Rail spacers may work. Thanks Olds bro!

You have to clearance the baffle for the poly locks. I was concerned that the tall covers might hit things (heater box, brake booster, etc.). There are the fabricated kind out there, too (might be shorter).

Plus I'm thinking about going with w30 style dual scoop hood, with the air box. That is, if I can find one. I think the hood looks great combined with T Tops and rear spoiler.
Nice car but IMO if you are adding a hood and rear spoiler you should consider getting rid of the vinyl top.

I dumped the vinyl top. Problem is, even on a nice car, there can be a lot of hidden ugly.
