Keep it stock looking but leave room upfront for this.

Sleeper mode until the key is turned! Btw, that engine is badass!

Hey fellas thanks for the good feedback and the hearty welcomes. Pontiacgp you went to the archives for that clip brings back good memories. Want to keep the appearance stock and after the suspension upgrades certainly replace the anemic v6. Vanrah (MM) it appears you have the parts knowledge to get the suspension going, talk to me about the gearbox upgrade and 11” rotors...got some part# or manufacturer names.
11" brakes are easy. Use the search function and look for blazer brake upgrade. The 2wd 98-05ish Blazer's have 11" rotors, bigger dual piston calipers, and sealed bearing hubs. Most junkyards should have a donor. You need the spindles, backing plates, etc. I used the calipers I pulled as cores for new units, and sourced the hubs from ebay. It would be a good time to upgrade the flex brake lines as well. The rotors and pads are an easy to find item at any parts store.

Injectedcutty nice block of aluminum there, sonny is not far from where I am in Maryland, a little too deep for my pockets though🙁

The two wheel drive Blazers used a hub bearing, huh, wonder if that will change the backspacing / wheel offset much. Will do some research take some measurements. Upgrade definitely needed.

Thanks TURNA, not much difference 1/4 inch, nice "G" coupe you got there, looks like the same color combo as mine. thanks for the quick response. Was your machine factory stick shift or did you do a conversion? Sleeper for sure.

This one was an automatic.

Yes our cars are almost the same,

In 81 the goldish paint did change a shade or two

and the camel interior became saddle I believe
