I went with bilstien hd on all 4 corners. But for springs I decided on hotchkis lowering springs

This is one of the best set ups out there and what we recommend.

Since you don't want to lower it I would recommend Bilstein shocks like mentioned, great shock for the price. Try Summit for good pricing.

moog springs will def restore factory ride height as long as you get the right ones, as there are many options. the bilstien HD are great shocks as well. they are the competitor of the ias but have a different valving setup. they are a hair cheaper. some like them better some like the edelbrocks better. i went with bilstiens because i run them on my truck and were still good after 80,000 miles.

BTW: the hotchkis springs only lowered it about 1-1.5". i wouldnt have done them because they are crazy expensive for the price i paid i couldnt beat it over moog springs (factory replacement) springs
sorry im kinda new at this, or just never replaced hem on my 442' sory for all the questions, lol
is there any way for me to find out the right mod springs for the height i want?

here is about all you could ever want to know about the moog springs. lots of #'s

i think this is the updated one:

as far as the bilstiens i think i paid around $65 each. i know the edelbrocks are around $78.

btw dont worry about asking tons of questions. thats how you learn. we were all there at one point. we are just glad to have you here.

this sucks i dont get that chart..... :?

4.085 * 5606 0.690 11.000 420 14.637 G-body 1530 1071 2142
4.085 * 5608 0.690 11.000 420 14.897 G-body 1637 1145 2290

These are the primary springs used in G-bodies. There were a few others not listed that shared the same rates. * HD spring used in MCSS and 442 with A/C.
being that those are the two asterisked front springs designated for 442 and mc ss one of them is for you. so that norrows that down a bit

Part # Spring rate
5.580 5379 0.552 10.25 121 14.750 G-body 19 545
5.580 6321 0.531 10.25 118 14.300 G-body 19 478
5.570 5391 0.590 10.25 142 15.400 G-body 19 731

those are the back springs. the higher the spring rate i believe the stiffer the ride while the lower rate the floatier.

and for the rear end?

i edited the last post with info for the back springs. im sure someone else will chime in here as well

what engine is in your car?

i believe if i had to do it i would do the 5606 on thre front and the 5391 for the back if i was going for a stock style setup. those springs should be right.
