I'm considering tubular A arms for my Elco, when I look at what's available I don't understand such drastic variations in price. They go from 200+ to over 800 a pair. I'm not building a race or show car, just an occasional driver with balls. Also my cars odometer reads 77 thousand, but the front end only is sagging. Not the rear. How can I figure out if it's just age and wear or if a previous owner lowered it intentionally? I'm hoping it's just wear,I like stock height.

I assume we are talking about the fronts? The uppers can be bought cheap through places like Speedway. The lowers are expensive regardless of where you look.

THANX, that I already know. I want to know if there's a quality difference since the prices are so different. I thought A arms only were in the front LOL

New, stock replacement springs are cheap enough. You can go a little stiffer than stock with no real issues.

For upper arms, G-body parts have a good budget arm (made by UB machine, like the speedway arms). For the lowers, Stock stamped steel with new bushings are all you need if you like stock right height.

I like the price. I don't see where THE cool sprung attaches though

The more expensive A arms help to correct the poor factory geometry, which in turn equals better handling.
The cheaper ones are copies of the stock ones,

THANX guys. All the pics online I've been looking at show spring mounts. Guess you can't trust pictures. I also never even checked how my car is put together. I've spent most of the year I've had the car doing all the body mods.
