I haven't been driving it like that I just removed the line to get it out of my way. I put plugs in it for now until I get a pump figured out. Thank you!

Post Update: I have found success... but not with any purchased product. I've ended up fabricating my own parts by hand and it winds up that the post I had seen from another VERY helpful member of this forum and the Kwik Performance parts did not work for my cause. I also got to spend the time to perfectly engineer the parts the way I wanted them to come out. I found that helicoiling the 6061 Aluminum blocks are stronger, and I found that I had to sit and make my own measurements. Sadly, I enjoyed the process of making it work specifically for me.

Notes for the few pictures I am going to post up.... I had modified the power steering can by grinding the sealing flange off the edge and welding it and grinding it smooth so it looks like it belongs... I had to cut the drivers side bracket differently and found a way to make the bracket bolt through the spacers (for the most part) directly to the head or block. You'll also see that it does not use the double (1 inch) spacing that the kwik performance kit says it needs for a MK V Big Block, I only needed the half inch spacer - the small block chevy crank pulley off the 1989 Caprice 5.0 fit perfectly, and the pulleys all line up very nicely. I actually did not use any part of the kwik performance kit that I spent $160 on and replaced it all with mocking up my own wooden brackets and then ordering 2 pieces of 12" x 6" x 1/2" 6061 aluminum plate off Amazon for $20 a piece. Check out the pictures and let me know if you have any suggestions or questions for me! Thanks for all of your help so far. The only parts I can't seem to find is the OEM hardware for the 1994 S10 passenger side A/C Compressor! I swear I've looked everywhere. The 2 or 3 long bolts are specific to this set up and nothing else works!!! UGH!

BEFORE I get any helpful hints about the open A/C System... I have a brand new compressor for a 1994 Chevy S10 and new lines, new condenser, new everything... and the power steering lines have been replaced with new as well. I ordered the adapter to make the CS130 style Alternator work in the car, and the pump is brand new for the power steering... I will put an in-line filter on the non-pressure return line going back to the reservoir and that's about as far as I've gotten. Thank you again.

I have a new complete 307 AC system I will be using for my V-belt set up on my SBC in my Regal because I don't want the compressor on the driver's side.
