Anybody ever delete the sway bar on a g-body? My new shiny set of control arms has no provision for the sway bar. I only drive it to the track for street drags and back home.

drill a hole in the control arms and install the sway bar...I don't think you'll like the ride without it

Well, the position of the new control arms won't accept the old sway bar. I'd have to find one to fit. What kind of ride should I expect?

Deleting rear sway bar.

yank it off, the car will be fine.

what size is it? i'm always looking to upgrade my back sway bar for a bigger unit.

yup the rear is ok to go without....but if your drag racing the car I would think you'd want one

X2..........As far as the front one you can get rid of that for better weight transfer.....You should let us know who made those nice shiney ones so we don't get 'em, especially if they don't have provisions for the swayu bar..... 8)

Mine has never had a sway bar since the build, wouldnt even know what to expect by adding a sway bar. If I can get it to hook up at the track, maybe I'll try a sway bar to do a comparison

Yep....thats why I made sure my new ones had the mounting holes before ordering. The 1" sway bar I ordered from UMI makes the stock one look pretty lame too.
