Kuruption -- First of all, thanks for the compliment.

Pontiacgp -- At the time when I purchased the parts, I wasn't aware of Kuruption's package. I have no affiliation with GBodyParts and was providing info to the post. Personally, I like stainless parts because of their resistance to corrosion. However, if you prep your metal parts properly, then they should last a long time with no rust issues.

Good luck,
Andry

kiko, I wasn't criticising your decision to buy the GBody Parts. I have looked and there are not many places to purchase the t-top components so if it wasn't my luck to come across kuruption's add I would have purchased it from GBody Parts just like you did..I was merely throwing in a good word for kuruption and the components I got from him need no prepping, there are like the day they were put on a car...Arizona's weather is nice to cars...

X2, I bought mine and t-top rubber from gbodyparts. Can't complain one bit, good stainless parts powder coated black fit and looks perfect.

I'm sorry if my post sounded not the way I intended. I definitely did not take it the wrong way and did not think you were critical. You guys are completely right and I agree that it's a good idea for this forum to expose all the options that are out there. When there's more choice, then the hobby grows and that's what we all want.

Great discussion. Good luck with your projects!
Andry
