It is the pro 5.0 shifter and the plate I bought from Mikes Montes. Then I cut it out to fit the 3rd gen Camaro shifter boot. Thanks also for the thumbs up!
You are making me feel great. I have nearly the same setup. Tilted Camaro bellhousing, Pro 5.0 shifter, blank console plate from Mikes Montes, and 3rd gen Camaro boot. Mine's just not done yet. I hope it turns out as good as yours. I ended up trimming 5/8" out of my G Force crossmember to get the transmission down a bit. Did you space over your shifter handle?

My crossmember is a double hump for a 700r4.
Jeg's 700R4 here. Had to round off an edge at the mount to clear the Tremec tailhousing.

Looks good! No I didn't space my shifter handle over. I moved my console about a half inch or so toward the driver seat and everything worked well.

That's the same crossmember I used. but I didn't have to modify the mount. I see why you did though. the tko is a bit bigger than the t5.

I decided to modify the $130 crossmember and leave the $1800 transmission intact.

Mine is a few steps farther, but still under a tarp. I just had a new driveshaft made to fit the Tremec and 8.5. You will be driving yours sooner than I will mine...

I agree with that. Wish I could have found a tko for that. I looked all over before deciding to rebuild the t5 and cheapest I could find was 2595.00.

They were $1800 in 2006...I could have had a T5 'Z' 1352-251 five years ago for $1295. Now they're $1895.
